Volkan started his career in Turkey's leading oilseed crushing and edible oil refining facility in 2012, where he worked as a specialist and manager respectively in import, purchasing and foreign trade departments for more than 7 years. Following this, he worked as a broker in the leading agricultural commodity brokerage companies in the sector for 4 years.
As of 2024, he continues his activities in the agricultural commodity trade sector as the co-founder of MedAgri Brokers.

Corn oil (North American) or maize oil (British) is oil extracted from the germ of corn (maize). Its main use is in cooking, where its high smoke point makes refined corn oil a valuable frying oil. It is also a key ingredient in some margarines.
